About Me

After many years working in the public health and University sector I decided to establish my own practice.

I chose the name, Growing Minds Speech Pathology, to reflect what I think happens when we combine my clinical experience with the latest best-practice research, and centre the intervention around your family.

Our minds grow as we work together.

We build our knowledge and skills.

We nurture your child’s learning potential.

Together we develop your child’s skills to become the most effective communicator,

critical thinker and problem solver they can be.

I believe in learning, for myself, my clients and for speech pathology as a profession. I actively engage in  ongoing professional development to support my intervention choices and caseload needs.

Growing Minds offers services to children, families, schools and other health professionals for a range of paediatric language, communication, literacy and feeding difficulties.

I provide professional supervision to early career speech-language pathologists sharing my years of clinical, professional, academic and managerial experience from previous roles with NSW Health and the University sector.  I continue to advocate for medical and allied health professionals to understand the importance of Interprofessional Practice and working collaboratively with families and other support services to best meet the needs of clients.

The Growing Minds Difference

My practice is family centred, flexible and focused on building success for children so they can learn and grow.

As a mum and professional I understand the busyness of families. I chose to establish my private practice to support Port Macquarie families and children in an unrushed, welcoming and supportive way.

It’s about engaging with families to find the right pathway for the future.
